If there ever was a time that the Malta Chess Federation needs you, it’s now. The pandemic has affected everyone – including our small chess community. With a lack of tournaments – no classical tournaments were held in 2020 except for the National Championship Cycle – there is less income to support the MCF’s endeavours.
The MCF has started organizing two grand prix online tournaments (blitz and rapid) which is open to MCF members only. So join the MCF and hopefully we shall all meet over the board further on this year.
The MCF’s main income is mainly through the subscription fees from its members. There are several advantages when becoming a member of the MCF. There will also be an added section on this website exclusive to MCF members.
The best way to contact the Malta Chess Federation is through its official email – info@chessmalta.com
The MCF also runs it own Private Facebook Group – Chess in Malta. The group includes people who are somewhat interested in following chess in Malta. To become a member, just answer a few questions and accept the pages’ regulations.
